Does it interfere with the shelf above?
No it doesn't. The hook grabs the portion of the grate the product doesn't come in contact with. So it does not mess with the shelf above. You can even install with product on the shelf if needed. Just fish the hooks in separately, slide together, then insert hook.
How do you install?
