Galvanized Channel

Galvanized Channel offers a cost-effective alternative to stainless steel while providing long-term rust protection for up to 30 years. Its corrosion-resistant properties make it ideal for structural frameworks and exposed outdoor installations where durability is key.
Galvanized Steel Channel is made from A36 hot rolled mild steel that has undergone a zinc-rich hot-dip galvanizing process. This enhances its resistance to environmental wear and ensures long-lasting performance in construction, support, and framing applications.
Hot-dipped galvanized (HDG) steel channels can be visually identified by their unique crystallized surface pattern, known as "spangle." This distinct finish not only adds visual appeal but also signals enhanced corrosion protection built into the material.
Galvanized Channel retains the strength of standard structural steel while gaining added durability from its zinc coating. Ideal for framing, bracing, and support applications, it performs exceptionally well in construction and industrial environments exposed to moisture and weather.

Workability
Can be cut, machined, or welded using standard steel fabrication methods.
Adequate ventilation should be used to avoid inhalation of fumes when heated.
Saw-cut ends of pre-cut lengths are not galvanized and should be treated with a cold galvanizing compound.
